The Coat of Arms
KHARKOV CITY
   Home, sweet home...

Our project has been thoroughly being created for a long time. We have explored and verified all the facts contained in all the articles. Each member of the group had to develop a specific topic. Afterwards all of us verified the information independently. If there were any doubts concerning the authenticity of the information it was deleted from the project. There was a big selection of information during a number of discussions on each topic where everybody turned out to be brilliant speakers. Each student of our group made a large contribution to the project. Some students had to snoop for the information, others - create the web site itself. But the contributions of the students to the project are approximately the same and we are very proud that have managed to gain this. At our classes sometimes we receive task to explore the history of our native city. Two students of our group (Dmitry Ulyanov and Stas Kolbasin) have taken part in a conference about Kharkov during the World War II. Their reports in addition to a number of researches by other students of our group have been reflected in the project. We have spent hours snooping for the information in libraries of Kharkov and Kyiv. All the facts, we have found out about, later on were connected into several articles you can find in the project. The researches we performed have widened our outlook on the history and modern life of Kharkov. All the work to create the project was done by our students only; without involving outer help. The aim of this web site is to make information about our native city available for the whole Planet in the World Wide Web. We all love our city. It's not the most developed city of the World but as for us it definitely is the best. We all are persuaded that if you ever visit Kharkov you will fall in love with it. We hope that this project will make you come to our native city in order to see it with your own eyes.
